Not good. Tune in NOAA weather radio, or go to the weather service warning web pages.

Pretty, though.

I should set one of my car radio buttons to NOAA ... but I was listening to the DC news station (WTOP) at the time for traffic reports, and they didn't say anything alarming about the weather. It didn't look like the admittedly small sample set of tornado or dust-storm skies I've seen, just the freakiest damned sunset ever.

Yeah. Green skies can be an indicator of tornadoes. Saw a green sky once driving home from work some years ago, and found out later that about twenty minutes after I had passed the particular town, a tornado had hit.

First one in Connecticut in decades, IIRC.

Scary scary.

I'm no expert, but this had a different look to it than that, and the clouds were really high up. I've seen more dust storms (when I was in Texas) than tornadoes, and it was a much more pleasant assortment of greens than the hideous approaching-duststorm shade. But still mighty freaky.
