julian_tiger did that when cattitude and I went away together for a few days, and took a while to be reassured that no, really, we weren't leaving him. (Based on things like his reactions when we came home in the evenings for a while thereafter.) He coped a bit better the second time.
I'm not sure if this means it's as well that we usually don't travel together (Cattitude is more the stay-at-home type), or whether it's something Julian would have had an easier time getting used to if we'd done it sooner.
