I try to make it a point to watch movies which are banned in the U.K. (sometimes just parts of the U.K., like Scotland banning the movie "Life of Brian") or Ireland or anywhere else I've been (and I would understand the language).
Did they say what book was banned? I'm curious. I think I have read all of the top 10 of most banned books in the U.S. (locally banned, usually by counties/cities).
From the CNN article: "The novel, known as Memories of My Melancholy Whores in the West, was translated into Persian as Memories of My Melancholy Sweethearts." It's by Nobel laureate Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
