I have always maintained that the soi-disant "Pro-Life" movement is in reality far less about saving the lives of unborn alleged infants than it is about controlling the behavior of their mothers. How else to explain the fact that many of the same ones who so stridently object to abortion being legal also object to any form of contraception, which would obviate the need for abortion in the first place?

To say nothing of their attitude toward care for the fetus once it emerges -- y'know, things like good health care.

Yikes, that's always bothered me... rather than focus on banning abortion, why not provide enough emotional and financial support to mothers and infants that people feel like they have other options??

Ah, you must have infiltrated their meetings.
All the reports from those who have done so conclude
what you have concluded.
Not that you need infiltration, you just need eyes & ears.
