Apparently, if you wear a scarf with a repeating black and white pattern on it in a television commercial, Michelle Malkin will claim that it's a pro-Palestinian symbol, regardless of whether the pattern resembles the relevant one or not ... and a bunch of Malkin apologists are describing the latticework pattern as "checkered". So in the interest of substituting snark for stupidity, I extended their extension a step farther to encompass the motorsports checkered flag.
