If you go the friends-only route, I won't be able to read any of your entries from work. (LJ, and most if not all of your mirrors, are blocked; dynamic-DNS hackery lets me at least read a subset of my friends page, but I can't log in using that trick. (Also can't follow cut or comment links.)) This isn't a huge consideration (I have to go back the entire day each night anyway to catch the locked stuff), but it is a minor convenience for me to be able to read the stuff that's public (and not cut) anyway over lunch, even if I won't be able to comment until later.
Ah. Important information, that (even with the "isn't a huge consideration" qualifier). I hadn't thought of LJ users unable to log in from some places.
