Most people don't know that the line about "back to the garden" had nothing to do with peace, nature, the Garden of Eden, or anything so artful or spiritual. The song is heavily based on her conversation with David Crosby over the phone after it happened (and she missed it), and the "garden" they had to get back to was Madison Square Garden, where CSN's next gig was.
She gave them the song a few days after that, when they met up for the Dick Cavett show. :)
Former Fairport Convention founding member Ian Matthews did a very nice a capella version of it that he sometimes brings back at Cropredy conventions.
