I wish I felt as Ms. Collins did -- one of the reasons Cov. Palin makes me cringe in her blatant cherishing of stupidity is that I feel like I'm being told I'm supposed to identify with her because we're both women, that I'm supposed to think she's the best a female politician can be, and I really, really don't.

There certainly is a large contingent out there who would tell you that she is a worthy model for womanhood. I often wonder what, exactly these women have been told themselves to make them think that way.
