And that's why I love it when orators draw parallels between race issues (primarily from several decades ago, but some are still around) and LGBT rights recently/today... and why it boggles my mind when conservative black people (predominantly religious) speak out against LGBT rights and maintain that They're Not The Same Thing At All.
Yeah, and I love it when people work backwards to try to justify it, and come up with the idea that civil rights only cover things you don't have a choice about. Hello, we also don't allow religious discrimination! Perhaps you've heard of that?
