I may have a hand-me-down inkjet coming, but it's tempting to get a BW laser (lowest cost-per-page and IME long service life) to use for anything that doesn't need colour. I've got a busy day ahead, but will figure out what I need most (disk space looks like the next crisis) as soon as I have a few minutes. Thank you.
You're welcome. Like I said, it's something I've been meaning to get around to doing for a while; this just provided the spark to get me going on it.
No massive rush on figuring out what you want; there's no particular time limit on the offer (except on I guess if I get fired or something like that before you figure out what you want / need, in which case I ought to be practical).
Disk space would also be acceptable IMO, or if you want you could get a printer and disk space, or whatever. Whatever will be most useful to you.
You may have noticed on FB that Stephanie Clarkson is aware of this and that I asked her to help if she could if you had any questions about how best to make use of this offer, since I've done much the same for her for some stuff so she has experience with this. So, feel free to ping her I guess if you want her advice.
This is a ping to remind you of this offer. It is still open -- I haven't noticed anything from you concerning it, tho. (If you sent me something, I missed it; resend it, preferably to my gmail address which I am checking far more frequently, tho I still do have and check my radix.net one also.)
If you have any questions about what all you can ask for, how big you can (or should) think, etc, ask Stephanie (for her experience with them for herself) or else me.
