If everyone took that advice, wouldn't that mean that no relationships were possible? I'm not sure I understand.

My best relationship advice: Care as much about your partner's welfare as you do about your own. (And if your partner doesn't reciprocate this, consider looking for another partner.)

I think maybe it works if each person subjectively prioritizes different aspects of crazy. Just as a successful trade is one in which each party feels they came out ahead because they traded something of lesser value-to-them for something of greater value-to-tem, this approach wors if each person judges their partner to be less crazy on important-to-thm metrics. If they're not using the same metrics, it can work.

Or maybe I'm overthinking something that's supposed to be flippant. *shrug*
