Jewish people, of late, have been having much more high-stakes arguments than previously. Unsurprisingly, it’s about the fact that half of us know that the Palestinian occupation is a horrible, horrible oppression that should never have happened while the other half are justifying it.
Yeah, I was thinking of saying “Jews too” but then I remembered horrible things fellow Jews have said to my face and refused to back down from. Many of them reject Black Lives Matter because BLM supports Palestinians! And then there are the people who forget that perhaps the Jewish person they’re whining to about “those people” may be receiving government assistance themselves.
