I get what you're saying, but personally, if I lived someplace where it never snowed, I'd miss it. Maybe not as much as I missed having a proper Autumn when I was in Dallas (where the weather goes from Summer to what passes for Winter in about two days and it never really felt autumnal to me), but I would miss it.
Even living alone where I have to shovel the sidewalk myself with the fibromyalgia and all, and worrying about being able to pay for heating oil, I felt a little cheated last Winter. *shrug*
Actually, I do miss it. I just don't mind living in a place where it doesn't snow. But the good part is that I can get to snow if I really gotta, without driving too far.
