Quoth

"my kitty was on my windowsill and now she's warm."
Uh, should I have put in an lj-cut with a warning for folks whose cute-tolerance isn't as high as mine? <<innocent look>>
(I'm glad I figured out how to get the URL of the "Read Comments" page for a journal entry that doesn't have any comments yet.)

Cute is okay, especially in small doses, which that certainly was.

Four clicks and a little scrolling. Walking through your way in my head ... also four clicks, plus a little typing? Or is there another click to confirm the deletion of the dummy comment? Your way sounds like it'd feel more "direct", but I still like mine because it doesn't require posting something intended to be deleted a moment later. Either way gets the job done though.
I've noticed that Slashjournal and at least one other system have a "permalink" (or similarly phrased) button on each entry, which takes you directly to an "only this entry" page.
