Well that makes sense. Leeks have real heft to them.
Unless, of course, your goal is to go through the motions but not actually feel anything, in which case you want scallions. But who takes fakers seriously? :-)
Many years ago, I was councilor at a Elks Club summer camp. The kids got on my nerves. Finally I made a cat of nine tails out of yarn, and hit the kids with it. It relieved my stress and the kids just giggled. It was only loosely braided.
