Mine won't be threatened by anything but a pretty computer geek with a sweeter disposition who's a better dancer. Or lack of time. Anyone brave/foolish and optimistic enough to commit to a marriage should be able to do so with any other human being who's brave/foolish and optimistic enough to do the same back. And have all the rights, privileges, joys, and miseries that accrue unto that state. Period. But I repeat myself.
I wonder what percentage of failed marriages fail due to, basically, "lack of time". (Or for that matter, how many that wind up in counselling and survive, as well.) And if that turns out to be significant, I wonder what Bush is doing about that.
