Supporters of marriage

Newt Gingrich comes to mind. Ditch first wife when she gets cancer, ditch second when someone young and cute comes along. Yeah, a real supporter of marriage. Can homosexual marriage reduce his respect for it to less than his actions indicate that he already has?
