I once shut Lily's paw in the door, she stuck it through the crack by the hinge just as I was closing the door, I didn't even know she was behind the door. The howl she let out would have woken the dead. She was limping around and not using the foot for several hours after so I took her to the vet, It turned out to be what the vet called a soft tissue injury... A bruise! But we both learned, now I look now before closing doors, and she doesn't get behind doors and stick her feet through.

She does like to sit under my desk chair when I'm working and I'm always worried I'm going to roll over bits of her, so far all I've caught was bits of fur under my wheels, but I try to be so careful.

If you really hurt Perrine, she probably wouldn't have come back so quickly. After I caught Lily's paw, she avoided that door for weeks.
