Erica does the paw drink/bat the water thing. Being Erica, I pretend she isn't cute or even there. She'll quit if she finds me looking. James does the 'bite the stream of water from the hose' thing.
I'm still trying to figure out the way Erica meows--it's different from other kitties I've known. The breathy "Mehh" thing. She can yowl, but it's not her usual meow. She responds to being echoed in the same tone, but the response tends to be a 'sit down and stare at the stupid human blankly' one.
Glad the little love is well, and hope you're the same. Just be careful mixing intelligent cats and rope too much. Those opposable thumbs.
