As long as she is not looking "off color" and still drinking water, she can easily go a day or two without food. If she starts getting lethargic, or just not looking or acting right, I would take her to the vet. She may just have a hairball that is occupying part of her stomach, so she isn't hungry and it'll eventually come up, or she might just have an upset tummy from whatever it was you found pieces of...
I know I notice when our cats aren't eating as much or just acting grumpy, and usually just after I note it, one of them (or both even) coughs up a hairball and things are okay again.
