*nod* Reminds me a bit of something [livejournal.com profile] cellio said (http://www.livejournal.com/users/cellio/238954.html) (which I then used as a QotD (http://www.livejournal.com/users/dglenn/174475.html)): "We don't teach blind obedience; our prophets and patriarchs argue with God. But, having agreed to serve, they don't sabotage the work, either."

I've adopted the "questioning allowed" rule into my Christianity.
