I'm not so sure, myself, that an assumption of bisexuality would be the ideal norm. I'm thinking more of a belief that orientation just doesn't matter, so NOTHING is weird.

Oh, I wasn't thinking of that as an ideal, so much as wondering about its likelihood compared to other possibilities. For the ideal, we're on the same page.
