I'm comfortable with either pronoun, and hadn't announced a preference, so no apology needed. I do prefer being called "she", but it seems silly to ask others to call someone with a full beard and a flat chest "she", regardless of how I dress. So use whichever pronouns you feel comfotable using. If you call me "she", I'll be flattered; if you call me "he", it'll be what I'm used to hearing. Either is fine. So are "sie" and other gender-neutral neologisms.
