Chiming in to say that with the fibro, you HAVE to get checked and be monitored. Triggering a flare is just too easy in a situation like this and what with you being alone, you won't notice what is happening to you. Is there *someone* around? At the very least, you need someone who will CALL regularly. Email won't cut it because what can one do if you just don't respond? Shock and the adrenaline will make you think you're okay when you really are not. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE......do something to take care of yourself.
Don't worry. She's here with me, and is fine, if upset. I'm going to work on that.
I took the flashlight out and looked at the damage. The car's right front fender is scuffed, and the front bumper on that side's plastic is cracked. We'll look at it more in the morning to see whether it's off kilter, and I'll squiggle under to look at the bumper system for any obvious damage.
In the meantime, if anything happens, I know where the nearest hospital is, and it's <2mi away. But I don't think anything will. And I'm used to watching her fibro ebb and flow. Rest easy.
Her description of the business is spine-chilling, and horrifying in what it means some people are like, but it's okay for now.
I'm *SO* relieved that you're together! I swear that one of the nastiest elements of the fibro is the sneaky way it works, creeping in when you think everything is okay....you know.
I'm glad you're so aware of what it looks like on hir. I've never had anyone notice like that and I know it has crept up on me, ramping up slowly so that I just gradually feel worse and worse. When that happens I keep trying to slog along......unaware of passing the point at which I needed to stop. *hugs*
I'm comfortable with either pronoun, and hadn't announced a preference, so no apology needed. I do prefer being called "she", but it seems silly to ask others to call someone with a full beard and a flat chest "she", regardless of how I dress. So use whichever pronouns you feel comfotable using. If you call me "she", I'll be flattered; if you call me "he", it'll be what I'm used to hearing. Either is fine. So are "sie" and other gender-neutral neologisms.

Have you called the police?

What blumindy said -- the effects of being hit are not necessarily immediately apparent. Do get yourself checked out.

Glad that you're apparently okay, but another vote to have a doctor check to be sure.
Also glad the car is apparently only minorly dinged.
Now go find whomever it was and flog them with a cat made from knotted ultralight high E's, then dunk them in warm vinegar. And THEN hurt them!

On a completely unrelated note -- I'd somehow missed that you prefer to be referred to as "she" now (cf Anniemal's comment). My apologies.
