I was more complaining about a pervasive error of comprehension, though; I've seen at least one study which demonstrates that misuse of "it's" is the most frequent error in English. And I suppose I feel that large, slick, professionally written and edited sites (including both abcnews.com and cbsnews.com) ought to have gotten past this one by now.
