I'm sure anyone who knows me and most of my house will impugn my sanitation to the max. I'm used to germs, until the flu catches me, or a sinus infection invades, or my stomach goes weird. I believe in hand sanitizers and frequent washing when one has been in contact with many public surfaces.

I just find the concept of eating from a supine body a dish of an idea disgusting and disturbing. Absurd. I mean; who is this person I'm eating off from? Why is she doing this? Why can't I get a guy? I'm only semi-het. Or could I? They're a person. Haven't these folks read Dr. Suess?!

A supine body in any context other than romance is at least a good facial, maybe rib and hara, and frontal thigh and tibial massage. Only. I guess my professional instincts are ingrained. context matters, but is tough to reconsider.

I like sushi quite well, but my husband doesn't, is rather conservative in our practices, and I don't think it'd go over. And my sweetheart is a vegetarian who wouldn't tolerate it. And I try to only humiliate people who do things to deserve it by my loose but choosy standards.

I just can't quite imagine myself eating sushi from the torso of a stranger; even sanitized. Maybe another sweetheart sometime will get into such nibblings, but no, it's a personal, intimate, careful thing. I find the concept of it as public, common occurrence kinda abhorrent.

A small factual point: there's quite a bit of vegetarian sushi--egg, avocado, pickle (nice crunchy Japanese pickles, not limp cucumber pickles), cucumber (non-pickled), tofu....

yeah; I can't eat seafood (I like it, it just doesn't like *me*), but I love sushi and eat it when I can.

(and it's cheaper to eat veggie! I can go out with friends for sushi and be literally stuffed, for a third what their seafood costs! ;-) )
