It hasn't actually gotten below freezing any further inside the house than the inside surfaces of windows (where I did get ice) yet. And I run water often enough doing everyday stuff that I haven't been afraid the pipes would have time to freeze. But it is something to worry about if I spend a few nights in a row away from home.
Fortunately it's up to 290K (17C, 65F) in the office (where the thermometer usually winds up) right now, thanks to the warm air mass that moved into the area last night and a bit of solar heating from the black flat roof. I think the weekend is supposed to get chilly again.
