Money is the reason I did *NOT* mention private school as an alternative. I mentioned *homeschool*. Granted, there are still money issues, since one parent has to be home with the kids instead of working, but it's possible. My family did it on one $10,000/year income.

On the other hand, our daughter now goes to public high school, and she's quite happy with her own ideas and morals, so the fact that forced monogamy and other concepts we disagree with are now being pushed in her face doesn't seem to affect her much. Being out in the world, in school or otherwise, is going to introduce kids to things you don't agree with; it's parents' job to teach what they want to teach, not keep everyone else from saying anything different.

I am against the pushing of moral including monogamy in the school system. If they want to say it exists I have no difficulty with that, but stop their.

Freespeech mean the kids can say what they want to other kids. Even if you may not like what they say. This is unaviodable as the right of free speech in the adult world.
