yes, I did name my file server after a tennis player
Heh. And this is strange how? Three of our four cats are named for
* a male Canadian figure skater (Elvis STOJKO) * a female Japanese professional wrestler (Sugar SATO), and * a gangster profiled in Coppola's _The Cotton Club_ (George1 "Big FRENCHY" DeMange, as played by the incomparably phlegmatic Fred Gwynne)
Skye came to us already named, although we may have orthographically added a final "e" because "Dowager Princess Skye" looks so much better on paper...
1A previous cat actually named George was so named because of this line from a character in a Bugs Bunny cartoon: "I will love him and hug him and pet him and squeeze him and I will call him George."

As for cats ... what counts as a "strange" name for a cat?
