Whoops.
(I managed to free up some space. And yes, I did name my file server after a tennis player.)

We are looking for a few mic stands, another mic, and maybe a body mic for our ceremony sound system. What would it take to borrow/rent these from you?

Do I already know the date? (That is, did I just forget where I wrote it down, or do I really not yet know it?)

Heh. And this is strange how? Three of our four cats are named for
* a male Canadian figure skater (Elvis STOJKO)
* a female Japanese professional wrestler (Sugar SATO), and
* a gangster profiled in Coppola's _The Cotton Club_ (George1 "Big FRENCHY" DeMange, as played by the incomparably phlegmatic Fred Gwynne)
Skye came to us already named, although we may have orthographically added a final "e" because "Dowager Princess Skye" looks so much better on paper...
1A previous cat actually named George was so named because of this line from a character in a Bugs Bunny cartoon: "I will love him and hug him and pet him and squeeze him and I will call him George."

As for cats ... what counts as a "strange" name for a cat?

I've got my workstations and the main Linux box named after musicians (tipton, rupaul, boygeorge, carlos), the name server named for a movie director (wood), the firewall named for a soldier (stjoan), the syslog/timeserver/etc. box named after a governor (cornbury), and the dialout machine named for a diplomat (eon). Ifwhen I've got a laptop running, I'll name it after a travel writer (morris), and when I get around to configuring an IDS machine, I'll name it after someone from law enforcement (hoover).
I don't remember whether you were around the last time I talked about it, but yes, there's a unifying theme. ;-)

(I know; it's about time to change. But I love my tablet dearly.)

My screen is 640 pixels across, but since icons are off to the side, I have a very narrow reading window...
