I join in the chorus of sympathy, support, and outrage. It's impossible to know how much of the cause was gender, race, or greed ("Get his camera") -- possibly for drugs (but it sounds like these guys weren't poor) -- but none of them justifies thug behavior.

Incidents like this make me wish there were video cameras on every corner. Even if the attack were not caught on tape, the license plates that went by around that time would be a starting point for investigation.

I'm glad anniemal is there with you. I don't know what else I could do to help; she knows physiology far better than I do. (I'm glad she was able to go up there.)
