Don't know if this has been said yet -- Make sure you apply for any and all 'free care' the hospital offers; it's a bit of a pain re paperwork but worth it if you can get the hosp. charges written off and only have to deal with the Dr's bills, etc... they will also work out whatever payment plans you need to. They'd much rather have a plan in place than have to deal with collections etc... Will see what else I can find out and post back if anything useful turns up.
