Glad you're approximately okay. Migraines can be pretty brutal. I had a cousin was hospitalized with one for three days - though at that point, I think they start calling 'em TMIs, these days (transient ischemic incidents).
TIAs are NOT the same as migraines. They are reliable precursors to strokes because they are the result of arterial blockage inside of or leading to the brain. They have to be diagnosed properly, though, because they can sometimes manifest like a migraine headache.
One can die as a result of a TIA but not of an actual migraine.
Yes (and I don't believe I said "TMI" .. argh! .. says something about how awake I wasn't).
Sorry, what I meant was to indicate I had my doubts about the exact nature of my cousin's event. (Three days unconscious, from a migraine? I know they can be pretty fierce, but still.)
