Ah, but the question is whether they serve tej, which is Amharic for "mead"[*].

Feeding tej to Scadians is one of my new favorite hobbies. It tastes like Pennsic. The look on their faces is priceless. I'm sorry I won't be able to be there.

[* More specifically, "buckthorn metheglin" to get really pedantic.]

They serve a honey wine listed in the "Ethiopian Wines" section of the menu, so I assumed it was tej and didn't think to ask. I haven't tried it there because both times I was there I was driving and it was only lunch, but it did catch my eye on the menu, 'cause I'm rather fond of tej. (At other Ethiopian restaurants I've had tej made in Maryland, tej made in Canada, and IIRC, tej made in Ethiopia. I don't know where this restaurant gets theirs.)
