I meant that Reformed/Lutheran Christianity doesn't call things or places "holy" or "sacred" on principle, only people; Catholic Christianity does both. But the Church of England is made up of people from both traditions: this sort of thing causes friction. So a lot of CofE people would protest that the Abbey wasn't a holy site of the CofE.
