As a customer in the age of technology, I get to say what I want, how I want it, when I want it, and how much I'm willing to pay for it. If anyone disagrees they can go to hell, I'll have what I want anyway.

That sort of attitude strikes me as selfish, and more than a bit disturbing.

Fortunately, I'm doing business-to-business transactions amongst small businesspeople, so the pricks who think like that are fewer and further between.

Actually, if someone gets something from you for free that they wanted, and what you offered them is a loss-leader, and it gets them to come back and buy more shit from you, then I'd say you're actually a pretty fucking smart businessperson. The difference is knowing when you're marketing and when you're in a hopeless market, I guess.
